precooler repair

when the aircraft is due for heavy maintenance. an inspection shakedown in conducted to see any damage to the aircraft and the related components. in this case a precooler is found to have crack. that is why a repair is neccessary to bring the component to airworthy condition again.

when we have nothing to do anymore to our jobs. we explore the whole aircraft to take some souvenir pix. in this case we pretend to be a pilot.

inside of the aircraft fuel tank

this shot ws taken when we enter the fuel tank of an aircraft to perform a repair. i was just taking a rest for a while. i'm not wearing the prescribe uniform because of unavailability of the suit. but i use a respirator and a googles to protect my face from small object that can make me blind and to protect my lungs from fumes of the kerosene. this job is not easy because of the accessibility of the repair and its hard to move inside but its fun to do something different everyday of my job.
